So I've continued with yoga and taken a few more classes... included a killer one Monday morning (after running intervals)! It was the most intense class yet. I was already sweating from intervals and that continued through the entire class. My running buddy Patty took the class with me (her first) and later heard we had the hardest instructor... which is fine, I love the challenge!
Then we ended up taking Muscle Mix on Wednesday morning and it was awesome. My abs are STILL sore. My quads killed me. I can't wait to do it all again! For some reason being sore always makes me feel like I REALLY did something.
Tomorrow's plan is a long run, then yoga and then home to shower quick & get ready to meet my friend to head to Roanoke... we're going to an awesome country music concert! I'm hoping I can make it all happen.

Yoga!
On Sunday I tried yoga for the first time ever. Yoga is part of my "Hopes for 2013". Yoga came recommended by the first chiropractor I saw (I have now been to 3 different ones). The first chiro (who moved away shortly after my first visit) said I should become a "Yoga Queen" to help with my lower back pain. I haven't like any of the chiros since the first one so I haven't been going recently.
On Sunday - after two nights of extreme pain - I took my first yoga class and slept wonderfully that night. AND I was extremely SORE the next day which I loved because it meant I was working a lot of muscles I previously had not.
I have continued to use some of the yoga poses I learned to stretch this week. I plan to take another class this weekend (schedule permitting). And hopefully pick up a mid week one as well next week. I'd like to work it in on a regular basis to see how much it helps (or does not help) with my lower back pain.
So far, loving it!
