Just 2 months ago I blogged about my Honeymoon, then disappeared off the face-of-the-earth blog.

Sorry about that gals (and guys? if you're out there)!

Summer is truly one of the busiest times for us. We always have a summer full of plans + spontaneous trips, walks, projects and more. So I'm trying to get back in the swing of blogging amongst the crazy thing called life.

So let's go through a bit of the last two months:

I continue to love life in the Valley, especially when creatures are outside of my house (where they belong). Like this little guy I saw on my way home from my mom's one day:

Or my friends I see almost daily at work:

Taken from inside our office
Andy & I acted like kids again and went to the caverns w/ my parents (for their work picnic):

I also planned the biggest event of my career so far: an event hosting the Governor to announce our expansion. There were lots tons millions of details to be covered...and luckily it went great! Here is a shot of the tent going up the weekend before the event:

We continue to enjoy our fur-kids as normal:

We bought a new dishwasher! Yay!!!

We attended a beautiful wedding & celebrated all night with awesome friends & family:

Babe at the wedding!
Us!

Andy dancing w/ his Aunt

The beautiful bride dancing with her dad!

ESE! aka Mark
We enjoyed a day in C'ville shopping and visiting vineyards & breweries...

Finishing off nachos & a beer tasting
We enjoyed fireworks at the Waynesboro extravaganza... after dinner with great friends (an annual tradition):

I started making my favorite summertime treat - Stuffed Peppers, with peppers from my nephew's garden:

And we've done so, so much more! I went for my first ride-along with Andy (amazing!), turned 24 (wow! I'm growing up too fast), went to SML with my parents & good friends (pictures to come), and many, many other things! Summer flies by tooooo fast! I'll try to do better updating.

xoxo

Quick Life Catch Up

How in the world can I do a quick life catch up when I just got married?! Okay so a quick "catch up" is truly impossible. But since I am still in the midst of getting ready for our reception (tomorrow evening) - I'll talk this time to do a quick update. Then hopefully get back on a better blogging schedule!

First, this creature of habit went back to my blackberry... I know, I know! I loved the features of the droid but in the end it was the battery life that had me returning it one week after getting it. If they could fix that feature - I'd be sold!

Second (but most importantly) - we had the most beautiful, amazing, perfect wedding ceremony.

I cannot think of how it would have been better.

The day was absolutely beautiful - beyond perfect weather (Thanks Angela!). At the ceremony I seriously could not stop smiling. Proof in the pictures of me looking like a dork because I'm smiling ear to ear and you can see all of my top teeth and my bottom teeth (I'm not kidding). My favorite photos are the ones taken from behind me where you see Andy and not my ridiculously looking smile - although it's proof of how truly happy I was to be standing there marrying my best friend.

Deciding to have a private ceremony was a hard decision, but it did turn out wonderfully. Although I am sorry for our many, many friends and family who did not get to see us saw our vows, it really was a beautiful, intimate setting and we loved every moment. Even Andy said that he was sad it was over! I replied with aren't you glad we have a whole wedding reception next weekend? It is very cool that we now get to celebrate with all of our friends and family.

Make sure you check out my Facebook wall if you want to read some of my favorite memories from the day. And I promise to give a more (or multiple more) full updates from our wedding festivities. Like getting rained poured on at the rehearsal, kayakers down the river during the ceremony & the spider that got stuck in my dress!

For now, I will leave you with a photo from the ceremony that no one else has seen yet...
