Sometimes I wish I could go back to the days when I was six and my biggest
problem was what kind of dress to put on my Barbie's or whether or not I had
enough Lego's to build a fort.
Yes, that would be nice... Then I wouldn't be dealing with a million radio reps vying for my business, tons of voice-over auditions and a million things I need to purchase for the new house (underground dog fence your costs are killing me!). I find that it's Friday and I'm stressed to the MAX.
BUT...instead of complaining I should be thankful that: a) I have a job! And one that I love. b) we ARE buying a house and have money to do the things we really need (it's okay if we can't have everything!).
NOTE: Sometimes I do ask myself why we did not buy a brand-spanking-new house in a big ole subdivision like many people we know (I'm envious of their brand new appliances and perfectly clean carpets)... and then I remember all of the reasons we didn't (land, location, house w/ character) and I smile at the projects we have for the years and years to come!
