Last night Andy made me take on the task of cleaning out the filing cabinet I had negleted since ohhh like 2005! I literally threw everything in it away -- uhh if I haven't seen it since 2005 doubtful I need to hang on to it. We have been living out of boxes for the last 2 months and all of our important documents are collecting in a tote bag I carry around --- really good filing system, right? We found a bill for Parker's dog tags from January the other day... oops!
We are determined to get it together once we move into the new house (doubtful our mortgage company would be as forgiving if we didn't pay the mortgage for 3 months!). So the filing cabinet is empty and ready for organizing... and I really have no clue where to start. What do you need to keep? What do you toss? Do I need to keep my monthly car payment bills? The gas bills? Ahhhhh - help please! If I keep everything I think I'll need like 3 more filing cabinets...
