The Honeymoon...

The Honeymoon was ab fab (absolutely fabulous). Our resort in Mexico was dreamy. beautiful. amazing. wonderful.


True Story: 3 days after we got back we tried to book again for our anniversary in September but couldn't find a direct flight... I'm stalking kayak.com looking for a direct flight....

But... back to the trip we just had :).

The drinks were amazing...

I went make-up free every day (except at night!)...

We seriously lovedddddd it.

Look at that water behind us!! And the beach beds!

The FOOD was absolutely amazing!!

And the drinks were fabulous!!!

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

We snorkeled. We Jet-Skied. We went to downtown Playa Del Carmen to shop. Painted Pottery. 

We relaxed. We read books. We LOVED it.

Chronic Over Packer

Look up Chronic Over Packer in the dictionary... you'll find a picture of me.

It is definitely a problem. Trust me. 

I can't help it. I think wouldn't this dress be perfect? And these shoes? And of course I need to pack medicines in case we get sick. And shampoo and conditioner because they never give me enough in the room. Oh and definitely a beach tote. And water shoes. And underwater cameras. Oh and a float...

I swear, I packed all of that and more.

I know, there is something wrong with me.

I know I didn't need TWO sunhats. And I probably didn't need ALL of those dresses.

But here we are 3 suitcases packed, with one 1/2 pound under the limit. 2 carry-ons ready to go.

These suitcases appear smaller than they actually are.

Carry-on, Sandals... and dog toys?!

Prepping for Mexico

So I've been counting down... for months... and now it's actually on the horizon... 37 days till...

 MEXICO! 

Riviera Maya, Mexico to be exact. 

Yep, that's our resort. 

Here's how the preparations have begun...

- Tanning.

      Okay - to all of my friends who knew me during my tanning obsessed phase in high school, it's okay, I'm not going back (although I loved being tan, I was addicted... way too addicted). Andy & I just want to enjoy our honeymoon without a harsh sunburn, so we started tanning. 

- Swimsuits.

     They are finally out in stores so I have been trying to hunt down the perfect suit (or perfect 5 swimsuits.. haha).

- Sunscreen. Bug Spray. And SPF Chapstick.

    Yep, all of these are recent purchases for our trip! 

And the list continues... SPF moisturizer, waterproof mascara... maybe I just find any excuse to shop?
