Life in the Fall... with Mom & the Boys

Somehow this weekend has been full of things involving my mom + the boys (aka Dill Pickle & Jake). Not that I'm complaining, because I love them -- even though those boys remind me daily why I don't have kids --- I can't keep up or stay sane.

First we had a two hour grocery store shopping experience... I'm sure neither of the boys will ever agree to grocery shopping again.

Then Saturday morning it was Dillon's homecoming football game. Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Then it was pumpkin patch picking!!

Dillon had to have the biggest pumpkin I've ever seen. Jake got an awesome tall and fat one.

It's all fun and games until somebody loses their head... which happened after this photo!
Mum that mom convinced me to get - thanks, I love it!

A little Halloween decor at our house. And newly stained deck!
My loot!
I promptly returned home to work on completing our staining project of all 3 of our decks... the longest running project on earth. We. are. still. not. done.

I'm going to get a few things to decorate my pumpkins with (for the first time ever I may skip the carving this year because of all the cute things I saw on Pinterest!). Stay tuned for pictures... if I ever get the staining done!
