I really wanted to start out on better terms. The pile of tissues on my nightstand and endless cold medicine is NOT what I had planned for my five days off from work... and ruining my plans to have breakfast with Val while she's in town from AZ? Not Cool!
So listen, if you can send this awful cold away tonight, I'd be greatly appreciative! I'd even consider forgetting everything from this day...
