five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes.
five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred moments so dear.
How do you measure, measure a year?
In Daylights? In Sunsets?
How Do You Measure a Year in The Life?
In Truths that She Learned or in Times that He Cried?
In Bridges He Burned or The Way that She Died?
Our Pastor Joel quoted this song at the morning service at the High School on the one year anniversary of Angela's Death. Sometimes this song will just come to me and bring me to tears. that morning marked five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes since we said goodbye. five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes really expresses how long those days were. how long those moments were. some moments felt longer than others.
On Christmas Day it will be five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes since the last time I saw my Grandma, she passed away later that evening... on her Birthday, Christmas Day.
My grandma was amazing. My grandma loved us all unconditionally. Holidays will never be the same.

2009 took away a lot. Forever I'll be thankful for all of the moments I had...

love ya girl.
ReplyDeleteI've decided that this Christmas must be filled with new memories--ones that me and Andrew make together. I'm trying my best to move forward and feel happy about the past, not so sad.
I'm always here for you if you need to talk...you know I understand every emotion.
