"Free" Saturday

Every Saturday from late May until middle of August was/is booked for us. Insane... I know. So when our marriage counseling was re-arranged the Saturday before last, giving us a FREE Saturday, we decided to take FULL advantage of the day. Here's my recap!

We decided to start our day at 7:30 to hit some yard sales (I searched online and e-mailed myself addresses of various local yard sales). Andy's mom and step-dad met us bright and early to join us. One of the yard sales was right down the street and boy did we hit the jackpot! We bought everything from light fixtures to oil lamps and cheese dishes and more! My favorite purchase was the $2 light fixture we bought for our "mud room".

We continued the yard sale circuit - having pretty good luck too! A few pics of my favorite purchases from the day are below.

Oil Lamp - $1.50 - We're going to add colored oil

$10 End Table, I purchased the Pitcher at Ross (well actually Mom bought it for me!!)

$2 Light Fixture for our Mud Room, I'm in love!

Okay, so these were NOT from a yard sale, but I bought them downtown
