On Sunday I tried yoga for the first time ever. Yoga is part of my "
Hopes for 2013". Yoga came recommended by the first chiropractor I saw (I have now been to 3 different ones). The first chiro (who moved away shortly after my first visit) said I should become a "Yoga Queen" to help with my lower back pain. I haven't like any of the chiros since the first one so I haven't been going recently.
On Sunday - after two nights of extreme pain - I took my first yoga class and slept wonderfully that night. AND I was extremely SORE the next day which I loved because it meant I was working a lot of muscles I previously had not.

I have continued to use some of the yoga poses I learned to stretch this week. I plan to take another class this weekend (schedule permitting). And hopefully pick up a mid week one as well next week. I'd like to work it in on a regular basis to see how much it helps (or does not help) with my lower back pain.
So far, loving it!
