
This is how our upstairs media room looked while I was going through the hundred or so magazines stacked around the house. I'm slowly but surely going through those magazines and tearing out the pages if I want to keep or remember something. Then I'm inserting them in page protectors in a binder with dividers.
I also made a 4 week cleaning schedule - yes I'm driving my husband crazy. But as I scrubbed our fridge and cleaned our toaster I realized we needed a list of reminders for things like that to be done monthly. So I broke all of our cleaning tasks into daily, weekly and monthly and schedule them on 4 week rotations with a checklist - then up on the fridge it went!
I always feel more calm and prepared for the day ahead of me when I'm organized and my house is clean. So here's to trying!
