C'mon Spring

The little taste of warm weather we just had is making me wish it were here to stay. It's also making me wish I didn't have to sit inside in a cubicle during the 70 degree days we're having in February!

We've been enjoying the month of February... and it's mixed weather:

First up was a trip to the Star City (Roanoke) to visit one of my favorite couples - Michelle & Brian!

Roanoke was an absolute blast. And Carrabbas is definitely our new favorite restaurant!

Then there's been impromptu campfire's with babe & a good glass of wine! 

And Valentine's Day of course...

And just being lazy of course :)...

Keeping true to our "we haven't purchased a single piece of furniture" for our new house, we're attempting some DIY updates to furniture we inherited from my grandmother. 

I'll let you know how it turns out! We also inherited a new QUEEN size bed - a huge upgrade from our full size bed. Hopefully I'll have some updated photos of the bedroom sometime soon.

And Andy and I fell in love with some new plates... 

not sure if they work with my new tablecloth or not...

 The rest of my time has been spent cleaning & organizing - but I don't think you care to see pictures of my organized laundry room or under my bathroom cabinets... :)
