This weekend was one of those amazing weekends... one of those weekends that wraps a million things up into one amazingly busy fantastic weekend!
Friday I took off from work (well after I did my Friday Morning Sales Training, I took the rest of the day off) and spent the day with my amazing mom who turned 50 Thursday. We went shopping, had lunch at Mr. J's and then went to get our hair cut & colored. Mom cut off 6 inches and added blond highlights - 50 never looked so good!!!!
That evening Andy and I watched Couple's Retreat (which we've been waiting and waiting for on Netflix and finally my sister let us borrow it instead). Good movie - but glad I didn't pay to see it like I'd been contemplating. Then we went out with some of our awesome friends - John, Michelle & Brian - to the Pub (first time I've been there) to listen to Maybe Tomorrow. It was honestly the crazy night that we've been needing... for a long long time! We danced and drank the night away - and it was the best (I love dancing with Andy)!! Even the hangover headache Saturday morning was completely worth it.
Speaking of Saturday morning... my mom's sister's arrived (bright and early) for a girls day - we went shopping, mom had a makeover @ Clinque, we got pedis/manis, had lunch AND I took them to see the new house! My sister did find a dress and shoes to wear Saturday to her wedding (she's having a small ceremony) and mom bought me new tennis shoes (new balances from Ross) and some glass jars for the new house. Needless to say the day went by so fast! And by 10pm I was exhausted and crashed (making me realize I really am getting old!).
Sunday Andy & I decided to go to the Home&Garden show @ Expo (yes, we are really growing up). We had such a great time. We picked out a water softener to buy for the new house and spoke to some other great vendors for more of our house projects. Afterwards, we went shopping & antiquing.
It was one jam-packed, amazing weekend full of great friends & family. I truly am blessed.
